Because of all the heat and rain in February and early March, the bluebonnets bloomed a few weeks earlier than usual this year. I was just praying that they would stick around long enough for us to take our annual photos, only this time with Landri, too!!!
We went to Northlake College in Las Colinas because Ashlin told us about them last year and it was a great, safe place. And, this year when we went the blooms were twice as big and thick because of all the warm, wet weather.
One minor problem, though: Braden wouldn't get anywhere NEAR the flowers because of his new fear of bugs (stemming from when he was attacked by fire ants in our house a few months ago). On the upside, we did get some really great photos of Landri :)
And, just for giggles, this shows exactly what Braden did the entire time.
